It reached beyond private houses: 1920s lanes such as Wufu Alley and Jiuxing Alley, the stone-gate rows on West Lake Avenue, the old Zhang Xiaoquan scissors shop and the Shao Zhiyan brush store, campuses of Zhejiang University and other colleges from the 1950s and 1960s, Hangzhou Gymnasium and Hangzhou Hotel, the villas of Lingyin and Shengtang roads, and Liu's and Wang's villas by the lake.

What the notice said
The notice gave the city's office for historic districts and buildings charge of their management, records and signs, and asked the planning bureau, with the West Lake scenic area administration, to draw up protection plans for the batch. It cited the city's conservation plan and its measures on historic districts and historic buildings.
Today the 2013 regulations set out what every listed building's owner and the city must do, whichever batch it came from.

Each name opens the building's page with its description, key facts and sources. The period and the Chinese address come from the city's lists as compiled on Chinese Wikipedia; blank cells are not given there.
LSJZ2-26 and LSJZ2-27 are missing from the English Wikipedia list, so they have no page here yet.
