The fifth batch of Hangzhou historic buildings is the list of 43 buildings that the city of Hangzhou declared protected on 22 March 2010, in notice 杭政函〔2010〕85号. This page sums up what the batch contains and what the notice asked for, then lists every building with its number, period and address.

The fifth batch at a glance
It brought in industrial heritage of the 1950s to 1980s — the Hangzhou Silk Printing and Dyeing United Factory, Zhejiang Ramie Mill, Hangzhou Dahe Shipyard, canal-side warehouses and an oil depot — along with Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, Qing lanes of the old city and rural houses in Xiaoshan. Its last two entries were added as supplements to second-batch listings, the Zhejiang Institute of Education and Zhejiang University's Yuquan campus.

What the notice said
The notice, again citing order No. 215, asked for protection plans for this batch and a proposed list for a sixth batch, which followed in December 2011.
Today the 2013 regulations set out what every listed building's owner and the city must do, whichever batch it came from.

Each name opens the building's page with its description, key facts and sources. The period and the Chinese address come from the city's lists as compiled on Chinese Wikipedia; blank cells are not given there.
